Q6 What are the main reasons you use Twitter (e.g. business, marketing, fun, community etc)?

What are the main reasons you use Twitter (e.g. business, marketing, fun, community etc)?

Q7 What aspects of Twitter do you love?…

I like the immediacy. And someone is always “there”.

Q8 …and dislike (if any)?

Some people use Twitter for shameless self promotion – way – too – much! And, if they are a member of your Tweetup circle,

you can’t un-follow them.

Q9 If you could make changes to Twitter what would they be?

I think that I am too new to be very critical.

Q10 What Twitter apps do you use to Tweet from? (e.g. main Twitter site/ Twitterriffic / Tweetdeck etc)

Main Twitter site and Twitterific from my Iphone.

Q11 What are your criteria for following someone?

Good question. They should have a sense of humor, Tweets that are of interest to me, and be willing to have a conversation.

Q12 What type of behaviour would make you unfollow someone?

Better question. I un-follow if the person is constantly self promoting and if he/she doesn’t follow back.

Q13 What tips do you have for newbies?

Don’t over-follow. Take it slow.

Q14  How do you find new people to follow (e.g. Twellow, Summize, friends of friends etc)?

I like summize. The Shorty Awards are a good place to learn about people. I also look at who the most interesting people I know follow.

Q15  Qwitter – do you use it? If someone unfollows you do you reciprocate?

Qwitter – do you use it? If someone unfollows you do you reciprocate?

Q16 If you agree that Twitter should be monetized do you have any suggestions how?

I don’t think that it should be monetized.

Q17  Who do you enjoy following the most?

@rebeccashapiro, @zappos, @juliedarling, @trishdarling

Q18 How do you see the future of Twitter?

It may get so time consuming that people back off and it becomes a business tool. I really don’t know.

Happy New Year!! The world is going to be a bit better this year — after Jan. 20th.
